In northwest Washington, D.C., you can find Glover Park. A. Positioned approximately one-half mile north of Georgetown, but also to the west of Number One Observatory Circle (where the Vice President's mansion is located). The sound of colors synchronized with the nation's Master Clock is played by the Naval Observatory in Glover Park every morning and evening. Charles Carroll Glover is the namesake of it. Glover-Archbold Park, named after Charles Carroll Glovers and Anne Mills Archboldin, who donated part of their land, forms the western boundary of the neighborhood that is an extension of Rock Creek Park. The Washington National Cathedral, and the Cathedral Heights area are situated to the north of Glover Park on Fulton Street. To the south, Whitehaven Park is a subdivision of Rock Creek Park. Woodley Park is situated to the east of the Burleith neighborhood and beyond Georgetown University, which are located southward from Whitehaven. The Embassy of Russia in Washington and the Visa Office of the Chinese embassy are just two examples of embassies that have gained local fame. In addition to other businesses, there are numerous restaurants and shops in Glover Park.
